Research suggests that we remember between 25 to 50 percent of the total content that we hear. So when we are talking to client/customer/boss, even for 10 minutes, they are paying attention to less than half the conversation and this holds true when we are at the listening end too. This becomes hazardous when the listener who has perceived half the information given to him, goes on to execute the task. Chances of error increases exponentially.
